Work It! Holiday Job

I realize not everyone is fortunate to live in my little patch of Oz but I have to wonder is everyone hiring?

I found more Help Wanted / Now Hiring signs in the past month than I can remember that is why I have to encourage you to apply.

From Museums to Wineries people are hiring. It is not the kind of market where you get to name your rate but you can have a very flexible schedule.

Now that I have said that, if you want a Holiday job you are already late as I saw hiring events at OSH in the parking lot and heard announcements overhead in Ikea.

You can get a job but you will probably work 20 to 25 hours a week at $15 an hour. Yet you get your foot in the door and that will help you later.

I am not talking just retail there is office jobs too even in Palo Alto, see below
