The Do-Gooder Gifts

Its true every month or so I put aside $100 to $150 to donate to charities. I have figured that four hours of my volunteering time is worth that amount so I try to double my impact.

Well, what do you give someone that gives money, time, and sometimes garage space away for a good cause?

Let's start with the basics.
Loved and Blessed Send Me Socks.

Next what do they really need? What do they always seem to mention when you see them ? Is vitamins ? Is it their favorite restaurant ?

Think of about gift cards

The Gift Of Relaxation

Find a local massage therapist in your neighborhood and hire them (or engage them for some pro bono volunteering!) to come in during a volunteer event to give 20 minute massages to your volunteers. This is definitely something they can’t do for themselves!
Finally, something one can do in their "spare" time

A National Parks Pass

Give Yosemite, Yellowstone, and the Yukon! While maybe not technically a charity gift, by supporting the National Parks Service with the purchase of a National Parks Pass, you help to preserve our public lands.
A pass allows one year of free access to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. (National Parks Pass, $80)
